By using Time Capsule Message ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

The Service allows you to create time capsule messages with a future unlock date. All processing is performed within your browser. We do not store, host, or have access to your messages.

3. No Guarantee of Permanence

We do not store your messages or links on our servers. Your data exists only in the URL you generate or the file you download. If you lose the link or file, the message is permanently lost. We cannot recover it.

4. User Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for saving and sharing your capsule link or downloaded file.
  • You are responsible for remembering any passphrase you set.
  • You must not use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
  • You acknowledge that URL shorteners or services may alter or break the capsule link.

5. No Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Lost, corrupted, or inaccessible messages.
  • Messages that cannot be accessed due to forgotten passphrases.
  • Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
  • Links that stop working due to browser changes, URL length limits, or link-sharing platforms truncating URLs.

6. Security Disclaimer

No system is perfectly secure. The time-lock feature is a convenience mechanism and does not guarantee that a message cannot be accessed before the designated date. By using this Service, you acknowledge and accept these inherent limitations. Please see our full Disclaimer for more details.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to transmit threats, harassment, illegal content, or to circumvent lawful obligations.
